The compensation of the President of Borough Council shall be an amount equal to $60 per regular meeting of the Borough Council and $40 per special meeting of the Borough Council, but in no event shall such compensation exceed $2,500 per year. Such salary shall be paid quarterly in March, June, September, and December of every year.

The compensation of each member of Borough Council shall be an amount equal to $50 per regular meeting of the Borough Council and $30 per special meeting of the Borough Council, but in no event shall such compensation exceed $1,875 per year. Such salary shall be paid quarterly in March, June, September, and December of every year.

The compensation of the Borough Mayor shall be an amount equal to $60 per regular meeting of the Borough Council and $40 per special meeting of the Borough Council, but in no event shall such compensation exceed $2,500. Such salary shall be paid quarterly in March, June, September, and December of every year.

The compensation of the Tax Collector for collection of Borough real estate and per capita taxes shall be increased from $1.90 per bill collected to $2.25 per bill collected, effective on the first Monday of January, 2018.
This chapter shall be effective immediately upon its enactment but shall only apply to the above officials who are elected or appointed to and begin a new term of office after the effective date.
