A. Any person or firm, prior to making any installation which
requires the breaking of pavement or bituminous surfacing of any public
street or alley within the corporate limits of the City, shall pay
one hundred dollars ($100.00) for any street or curb cut and make
a deposit in the Office of the City Clerk in the amount of five hundred
dollars ($500.00).
B. Any person or firm, having made such deposit, shall be
refunded the full amount of the deposit only upon repair of the street
cut with the same materials as was disrupted, providing the repairs
are made in accordance with the Code and inspected by the Public Works
Director or his/her designee within sixty (60) days of the deposit.
