Any person found to be violating any provision of this regulation shall be served by the City with written notice stating the nature of the violation. The offender shall permanently cease all violations.

Any person who violates any provision of this regulation shall be liable to the City for a maximum civil penalty of $5,000 for each violation. Each day in which any such violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this regulation shall become liable to the City for any expense, loss, or damage occasioned the City by reason of such violation.
A. 
Any person who knowingly makes any false statements, representation, or certification in any application, record, report, plan or other document filed or required to be maintained pursuant to these regulations, or who falsifies, tampers with, or knowingly renders inaccurate any monitoring device or method required under these regulations shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not more than $1,000 per day, per violation, or by imprisonment for not more than six months, or by both.
B. 
Any person who willfully or negligently violates any provision of this regulation, a wastewater permit, or order issued hereunder, or any other pretreatment standard or requirement shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a penalty of not more than $1,000 per violation, per day, or by imprisonment for not more than six months, or both.
