No person may park or leave standing any vehicle on lands of another, whether publicly or privately owned, in the Borough of Norwood, after a sign or signs complying with this chapter have been posted by the owner, occupant, lessee, or licensee prohibiting unauthorized parking. This chapter does not apply to any lands lying within the bounds of any public street, highway, or right-of-way.
A. 
The signs required by this chapter will comply with the provisions of all state laws and regulations regarding the towing of motor vehicles, including but not limited to N.J.S.A. 56:13-13. In addition to and to the extent not inconsistent with these requirements, the signs must be at least 36 inches high and 36 inches wide and must be posted at all vehicular entrances to the property. The sign must state:
(1) 
The purpose or purposes for which parking is authorized and the time during which such parking is permitted;
(2) 
That unauthorized parking is prohibited and unauthorized motor vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense;
(3) 
The name, address, and telephone number of the towing company that will perform the towing;
(4) 
The charges for the towing and storage of towed motor vehicles;
(5) 
The street address of the storage facility where the towed vehicles can be redeemed after payment of the posted charges and the times during which the vehicle may be redeemed; and
(6) 
The contact information for the Division of Consumer Affairs as may be required by regulation.
B. 
Tampering with or damaging signs posted pursuant to this chapter is a violation of this chapter.
