As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
DISTRIBUTION FACILITY
A facility used for the distribution of marijuana for medical use pursuant to Title 10, Chapter VIII, Part 1004 of the New York Codes, Rules and Regulations.
Medical marijuana distribution facilities defined above shall be restricted as to locations set forth in the following manner in addition to any other requirements of the Code of the Village of Hempstead:
A. 
Medical marijuana establishments shall not be located within a five-hundred-foot radius of any residence and/or residence district.
B. 
None of the above medical marijuana establishments shall be located within a one-thousand-foot radius of another such use.
C. 
Facilities used for the distribution of marijuana for medical use shall not be located within a one-thousand-foot radius of any school, park. playground or playing field, nonconforming residential use, community center, or other public facility, or designated historic landmark.
D. 
Not more than one facility used for the distribution of marijuana for medical use shall be located within a single building or single lot.
E. 
Facilities used for the distribution of marijuana for medical use should be prohibited from locating within 1,000 feet of urban renewal areas.
F. 
Facilities used for the distribution of marijuana for medical use should be prohibited from locating within a three-hundred-foot radius of a place of worship.
