The Borough shall guarantee $2,500 annually towards the operation of the library and shall own any real estate occupied and used by the Myerstown Community Library Association in providing the aforesaid library service.

The Borough Council shall appoint two people to serve as the Borough’s representa tives on the Board of Directors of the Myerstown Community Library Association. Initially, one representative shall serve for one year and the other representative shall serve for two years; upon the expiration of the initial terms of the two representatives, each representative appointed thereafter shall serve for a term of three years.
