The Mayor of the City of Greendale may appoint a Deputy Treasurer
with approval of a majority of elective members of the Board of Alderpersons
for an indefinite term. He/she shall be chosen solely on the basis
of his/her qualifications. The choice of Deputy Treasurer shall not
be limited by residential qualifications. He/she shall be part-time
and salaried as may be determined from time to time by the Board of
Alderpersons.

The Deputy Treasurer shall have the same duties and responsibilities as the City Treasurer as set out in Section 115.100 of the Greendale Municipal Code. Before entering upon the duties of his/her office, he/she will give bond in the amount of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00).
