The following area, yard and building requirements shall apply for the specified zoning district, unless a more restrictive requirement for a specific use is required by Part 4 or another section of this chapter. All measurements shall be in linear feet unless otherwise stated.[1]

1. 
All districts shall have a maximum height for buildings of 2.5 stories and 35 feet, whichever is more restrictive, except as follows:
A. 
Unless specifically stated otherwise in this chapter for a specific use, such as permitted mid-rise apartments in Part 3.
B. 
Except as exempted by § 27-802, "Height Exceptions."
C. 
Except a maximum height of 45 feet or 3.5 stories, whichever is more restrictive, shall apply in the R-P and R-HO districts.
D. 
Newly constructed buildings in the B-C District shall be a minimum of two stories and a maximum of 50 feet high.
E. 
Except residential accessory structures on lots of less than one acre, which shall have a maximum height of 1.5 stories (with the 1/2 story limited to nonhabitable storage areas) and 25 feet.

Any lot that will not be served by both public water service and public sewage service at the time of occupancy of any principal buildings shall be required to have a minimum lot area of one acre per principal use/dwelling unit and a minimum lot width of 150 feet, unless a more restrictive requirement is established by another section of this chapter.
