It shall be the duty of the owner or owners of any dwelling house, store, or other building erected or which may hereafter be erected and located upon any street or public alley of the Borough of Red Lion now designated or which may be hereafter designated on the York County Tax Map to cause correct numbers to be placed and maintained upon said dwelling houses, stores, and other buildings; said numbers shall be of such size and shall be placed or affixed as to be plainly visible from the sidewalk of the street upon which said houses, stores, or other buildings are erected but in no event less than four inches high and with a stroke width of less than 1/2 inch.
