The voting polls in the Village of Howards Grove, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, shall be open for all elections as required by state law.
A. 
Number. Pursuant to the Wisconsin Statutes, there is hereby established a set of election officials to conduct all elections in the Village. The number of election inspectors per shift shall be set by the Village Clerk-Treasurer in advance of each election, but shall in no event be less than three, and the total number of inspectors shall always be an odd number.

B. 
Appointments. The Village President shall appoint, subject to confirmation of the Village Board, the above-named election officials in the month of December in each even-numbered year. The appointments shall be made in accordance with the provisions of § 7.30(4), Wis. Stats.
C. 
Duties. The election officials shall carry out the duties specifically assigned to them by the election laws of the State of Wisconsin, and in particular those contained within the provisions of Ch. 7, Wis. Stats.
A. 
All candidates for elective Village office in the Village of Howards Grove shall be nominated by a nonpartisan primary under § 8.05(5), Wis. Stats.
B. 
Nomination papers shall be signed by not less than 20 nor more than 100 electors of the Village of Howards Grove. The papers shall be circulated not sooner than December 1 preceding the election and shall be filed with the Village Clerk-Treasurer not later than on the first Tuesday in January or the next day if Tuesday is a holiday.
C. 
No additional candidates may be nominated, by caucus or otherwise, except as above provided.
D. 
Notice of the nonpartisan primary shall be given by the Village Clerk-Treasurer in accordance with Wisconsin Statutes.[1]
