As used in this Chapter, the following words shall mean:
Infected with the rabies virus as determined by standard laboratory testing.
A cat of either sex if over the age of four (4) months.
Includes both male and female dogs over six (6) months old, except as otherwise herein specifically mentioned.
Any dog not securely confined to the owner's property by means of a leash, chain, fence, etc., shall be deemed at large.
When bitten by, or fought with, or has come in close contact with, a dog or other animal shown to be infected with the rabies virus as determined by standard laboratory testing.
