The Council of the Borough of Whitaker shall, through motions
by majority vote of a the quorum present, appoint a Treasurer for
the Borough of Whitaker from time to time.
The Council of the Borough of Whitaker may appoint the same
person to the office of Secretary and the office of Treasurer.
The Borough Treasurer shall, prior to entering upon the duties
of the office, give bond conditioned upon the faithful performance
of said duties. Said bond shall be in such amount as Council of the
Borough of Whitaker may set from time to time by motion.
The premium of said bond shall be paid by the Borough of Whitaker.
Pursuant to the Borough Code,[1] Council may set such salary or compensation and payment
of expenses as it deems necessary for the office of appointed Treasurer.

Any prior action of the Council of the Borough of Whitaker in
appointing the Borough Secretary to jointly hold the office of Treasurer
of the Borough of Whitaker is hereby ratified, and any action taken
pursuant to that appointment is hereby ratified.
The Borough Secretary is hereby appointed to also hold the office
of Borough Treasurer.
