1. 
The Township parks and recreation areas are open to all Township residents and guests from 8:00 a.m. to sundown through the year, except special events authorized by the Park and Recreation Commission.
2. 
Use of the open space facilities by organized or other groups of 10 or more persons shall be scheduled in advance at the Township office.

1. 
Individuals and groups will be held responsible for any damage or theft of property or facilities.
2. 
The Township assumes no responsibility for injuries during group rentals or personal use.
3. 
The Township assumes no responsibility for property lost or stolen or left at the parks and recreation areas.

1. 
All vehicles must be parked on paved areas or designated parking areas.
2. 
No unlicensed vehicles shall be permitted at any time.
3. 
Except in areas designated by the Board of Supervisors, and for the sole purpose of parking, standing, stopping, operation or other use of any and all types and nature of motorized vehicles is strictly prohibited.
4. 
The use of park and recreational facilities for vehicle repairs or maintenance of any kind is strictly prohibited.
5. 
Operating any passenger car or truck on the park road or parking lot in a reckless or negligent manner, in excess of the posted speed limits, in such a manner as to become a nuisance to other park users is strictly prohibited.
6. 
Operating a motorcycle, minibike, snowmobile, or other similar recreational vehicles anywhere in a Township park or recreation area of Township open space is strictly prohibited.

1. 
It shall be unlawful for any person or group to engage in the following conduct, actions or activities, at any time, in or upon public parks and recreation areas and facilities within East Coventry Township:
A. 
Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages;
B. 
Discarding of trash, garbage, or other litter, except in containers provided for that purpose;
C. 
Camping;
D. 
Swimming;
E. 
Playing or practicing golf, except in areas specially provided for this purpose;
F. 
Except in receptacles or areas approved and designated by the Board of Supervisors, the starting or maintaining of any type or nature of fire, including but not limited to, charcoal fires and cooking grills;
G. 
Damaging, defacing, destroying or removing of Township-owned signs, property, structures, equipment, trees, shrubs or other material;
H. 
Planting, cutting, digging and/or removal of plant material (e.g., trees, shrubs, crops, ground cover, etc.) except as authorized by the Board of Supervisors;
I. 
Use of profane or indecent language, or profane or indecent acts;
J. 
Making, or causing to be made, unnecessary or unreasonable noise or disturbance;
K. 
Playing or reproducing loud music or amplified sound unless approved in writing in advance by the Park and Recreation Commission;
L. 
Possession or discharge of any type of firearms;
M. 
Possession or use of any fireworks or other explosive of any nature;
N. 
Trapping of animals by any means; and
O. 
Archery, except in specially designated areas.
2. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to bring a pet animal in or upon public parks or recreation areas and facilities within East Coventry Township or to allow a pet animal, over which the person has control or the right to control, to remain in or upon the public parks and recreation areas and facilities within East Coventry Township, unless the said animal, at all times, is kept on a leash and under the immediate control of the person.
3. 
Any person bringing a pet animal in or upon public parks and recreation areas and facilities within East Coventry Township, or allowing a pet animal, over which the person has control or the right to control, to remain in or upon public parks and recreation areas and facilities within East Coventry Township, shall immediately remove and sanitarily dispose of any droppings or deposits of said animal.

1. 
It shall be unlawful for any person or group to place and/or use one or more deer cameras, trail cameras, or other visual recording devices upon any lands owned by the Township.
2. 
In the event of a violation of this § 16-105, the Township may, in addition to any other penalties authorized by this Part 1, immediately remove and take possession of all such recording devices. If the owner fails to claim the devices from the Township within 90 days from the date of removal, the Township may dispose of such devices without any penalty or reimbursement obligation to the owner.

The Township Secretary shall prepare, or cause to be prepared, a summary of the provisions contained in this chapter and shall, post, or cause to be posted, said summary at each public park and recreation area and facility within East Coventry Township.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this Part 1 shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $300; and/or to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days. Every day that a violation of this Part 1 continues shall constitute a separate offense.
