It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to
move steam, diesel, or gas shovels mounted on solid or caterpillar
wheels, rollers, ditch diggers, road scrapers, bulldozers, cranes,
tractors, concrete mixers, paving machines, and other heavy machinery
over streets and ways of the Township of Collier, without first taking
suitable measures to protect the street or way by the laying of planks
or other protective covering on said street or way to insure against
damaging street or way.

Any person, firm, or corporation desiring to move such equipment
over the streets or ways of the Township of Collier first shall be
required to secure a permit therefor from the Road Supervisor of the
Township, who shall charge any applicant for said permit as established
from time to time by the Board of Commissioners.

Any person, firm, or corporation who shall violate any provision
of this Part, upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to pay a
fine of not more than $1,000 plus costs and, in default of payment
of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30
days. Each day that a violation of this Part continues shall constitute
a separate offense.
