[HISTORY: Adopted by the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Slinger as Sec. 21.09 of the former Municipal Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
Pursuant to § 66.0113, Wis. Stats., the Village of Slinger hereby elects to use the citation method of enforcement of ordinances other than those for which a statutory counterpart exists.
The citation shall provide for the information required in § 66.0113(1)(b), Wis. Stats.

A. 
The cash deposits for the various ordinances for which a citation may be issued are as established on the deposit schedule adopted by the Village Board, a copy of which is on file with the Village Clerk.[1]

B. 
Deposits shall be made in cash, money order or certified check to the Clerk of Courts, who shall provide a receipt therefor.
C. 
In addition to the deposit amount listed, the deposit shall include the costs, fees and surcharges imposed under Ch. 814, Wis. Stats.[2]

A. 
Any law enforcement officer may issue citations authorized under this section.
B. 
Village officials.
(1) 
The following Village officials may issue citations with respect to those specified ordinances which are directly related to their official responsibilities:
(a) 
Zoning Inspector.
(b) 
Building Inspector.
(c) 
Electrical Inspector.
(d) 
Plumbing Inspector.
(e) 
Fire Inspector.
(2) 
Such Village officials may delegate their authority to issue citations to their subordinates.
Section 66.0113(3), Wis. Stats., relating to violator's options and procedure on default, is hereby adopted and incorporated herein by reference.
A. 
Other ordinances. Adoption of this chapter does not preclude the Village Board from adopting any other ordinance or providing for the enforcement of any other law or ordinance relating to the same or other matter.
B. 
Other remedies. The issuance of a citation hereunder shall not preclude the Village or any authorized officer from proceeding under any other ordinance or law or by any other enforcement method to enforce any ordinance, regulation or order.
