All licensed legalized games of chance, as the same are defined
by Title 5 of the Revised Statutes of New Jersey, are hereby permitted
to be conducted within the Township of Washington in accordance with
the provisions of the Bingo Licensing Law, N.J.S.A. 5:8-24 et seq.,
and Raffles Licensing Law, N.J.S.A. 5:8-50 et seq. (the "Licensing
Acts").
Licenses shall be issued upon compliance with the provisions
of the Licensing Acts and the New Jersey Administrative Code, N.J.A.C.
13:47-1.1 et seq., and upon payment of the license fees authorized
thereunder. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 5:8-58, if requested, raffles may
be held, operated and conducted on Sunday when specifically provided
in the license authorized by this chapter and issued by the Township.
The Township shall charge a license fee to defray all proper
expenses incurred by the Township in the administration of the Licensing
Acts and the regulations governing the conduct of games of chance
held, operated or conducted under any license issued by the Township
hereunder, which fee shall be equal to but not in excess of the amount
charged by the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission.
The Township Clerk is hereby designated as the issuing authority
pursuant to N.J.A.C. 13:47-1.1 and is authorized and directed to issue
licenses as permitted by law and the regulations adopted thereunder.
