[Adopted 6-3-1985 by Ord. No. 85-5 as Ch. 202, Art. II, of the 1985 Code]
For the purpose of this article, the terms used herein are defined as follows:
CURBLINES
The point at which the face of the curb joins the level of the public street or highway at the lawful grade.
A. 
Curblines are hereby established distant 20 feet at right angles from the center lines on both sides of the following public streets or highways:
(1) 
Washington Avenue from the boundary line between the Township of Washington and the Borough of Westwood to the boundary line between the Township of Washington and the Borough of Ho-Ho-Kus.
(2) 
Pascack Road from the boundary line between the Township of Washington and the Borough of Hillsdale to the boundary line between the Township of Washington and the Borough of Paramus.
(3) 
Ridgewood Road from the boundary line between the Township of Washington and the Borough of Westwood to Pascack Road.
B. 
Curblines are hereby established distant 15 feet at right angles from the center lines on both sides of Van Emburgh Avenue from the boundary line between the Township of Washington and the Borough of Hillsdale to the boundary line between the Township of Washington and the Village of Ridgewood.
From and after the effective date of this article, no permit or approval shall be given for the construction of any curbs nor shall such curbs be constructed on both sides of the streets between the bounds above mentioned unless such curbs are constructed in accordance with the curblines herein established.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any term or provision of this article shall be punishable as provided in § 1-1 of Chapter 1, General Provisions. Each day that a violation of any of the terms and provisions of this article shall continue shall constitute a separate offense.
