The Board of Trustees of the Village of Red Creek hereby finds that a local law needs enactment for the prohibition of loitering within the Village limits; it is the purpose of this chapter to prohibit loitering on public streets, sidewalks, street corners, and public parking lots within the limits of the Village of Red Creek so as to enhance the safety, welfare, and morals of the residents, both minors and adults, of said Village.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
BOARD
The Village of Red Creek Board of Trustees.
PERSONS
Any individual located on any Village of Red Creek property.
No person shall loiter or remain for an indefinite period of time on any public street, street corner, sidewalk or within any public parking lot within the limits of the Village of Red Creek.
In the event that any person is found loitering in any of said areas, that person may be removed from that location by any police officer having jurisdiction within said Village limits.
