A.
There shall be an Office of the Township Attorney.
B.
There shall be a Township Attorney appointed by the Township Council for the term of one year commencing on January 1 of the year of their appointment and continuing until their successor is appointed.
C.
The Township Attorney shall receive such compensation, fees and costs as provided in Chapter 93, Salaries and Compensation, of this Code, and as may be necessary and required in accordance with their professional services contract.
D.
There shall be a First Assistant Township Attorney and Prosecutor(s).
E.
The Assistant Township Attorney and the Prosecutor(s) shall be appointed by the Township Council for the term of one year commencing on January 1 of the year of their appointments and continuing until their respective successors are appointed.
F.
The Assistant Township Attorney shall receive such annual compensation as shall be provided in Chapter 93, Salaries and Compensation, of this Code, and deemed reasonable by the Township Council.
G.
The Prosecutor(s) shall receive such compensation as deemed reasonable by the Township Council and as may be necessary and required in accordance with the Prosecutor's professional services contract.
