It is unlawful for any person to drink or consume any alcoholic beverage (as that term is defined from time to time in the Alcoholic Beverages Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland) in or on any public street, avenue, alley, lane, sidewalk, park or other public place in this Town.
This article shall not be applicable to the drinking or consumption of any alcoholic beverage by an owner or lessee of property, or the guest of either, on the property owned or leased by said party, nor shall it be applicable to the drinking or consumption of any alcoholic beverage on any premises licensed under the Alcoholic Beverages Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland for the sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages.

Any person who violates a provision of this article shall be guilty of a municipal infraction subject to Chapter 135 of the Code of the Town of Westernport.
