No person shall raise, keep, harbor or slaughter any farm or wild animal, including but not limited to cattle, horses, goats, sheep, pigs, lions, tigers, bears, alligators, monkeys or poisonous snakes within the Borough.
No person shall raise, keep, harbor or slaughter more than two adult fowl, including but not limited to chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons or turkeys within the Borough.
All premises on which animals or fowl are kept must be maintained in a sanitary condition. A public nuisance shall be deemed to exist in the following circumstances:
A. 
The keeping of animals or fowl above in a manner that may foster the breeding of insects and rodents and germination of bacteria and other infectious microbes, all of which may cause disease.
B. 
The keeping of animals or fowl in a manner that may create foul and noxious odors as well as disturbing noises.
Any use existing on the date of adoption and not in compliance with provisions of §§ 189-69 and 189-70 herein may be continued as a preexisting use, subject, however, to the provisions of § 189-71. A preexisting use may not be extended.
