Town of Whately, MA Chapter 45 Regional Council of Governments [1]

§ 45-1 Council Charter accepted.

Voted that the Town accept the Charter establishing the Franklin Regional Council of Governments as proposed by the Franklin Regional Charter Commission for the purpose of providing regional municipal services pursuant to Chapter 151 of the Acts of 1996, Section 567, as amended.[1]

[1] Editor's Note: The Town Meeting voted on 4-29-2003 under Art. 19 to authorize the Selectboard to contract with the Franklin Regional Council of Governments for building, plumbing, and gas inspection services.
