It shall be unlawful to harbor or keep in custody any animal
which disturbs the peace. It shall be unlawful to own, harbor, or
keep in custody any animal which disturbs the peace by barking, howling,
or making other loud noise to the annoyance and discomfort of any
person in the Township of East Fallowfield. Barking, howling, or making
other loud noises by any animal for more than 15 minutes shall be
deemed to disturb the peace and to cause the annoyance and discomfort
of persons in the Township of East Fallowfield.

Any person, firm, or corporation who harbors or keeps in custody
any animal which disturbs the peace shall, upon conviction thereof
in an action brought before a magisterial district judge in the manner
provided for the enforcement of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania
Rules of Criminal Procedure, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more
than $1,000 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and
costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 90 days. Each day that
a violation of this Part continues or each section of this Part which
shall be found to have been violated shall constitute a separate offense.

This Part prohibits owners, custodians, and keepers of licensed
dogs from allowing such dogs to run at large; providing for the seizure
and impounding of such dogs when at large; requiring the reimbursement
of charges incurred by reason of such detention of dogs.

It shall be unlawful for the owner, custodian, or keeper of
any dog, bearing the current license tag, to allow such dog to run
at large at any time, either upon any of the roads in East Fallowfield
Township, or upon the property of another than the owner, custodian,
or keeper of such dog, unless accompanied by and under the immediate
control of such owner, custodian, or keeper.

It shall be the duty of any police officer and/or animal control officer and/or animal control agency so designated by the Township of East Fallowfield who witnesses any dog running at large in conflict with the provisions of the § 2-201 of this Part, or who receives information of any dog so running at large, to seize such dog and to convey it to the place designated by East Fallowfield Township as a pound or to the agency kennels or pound. Notice of such seizure shall be given to the owner of such dog to claim such dog within 10 days in the manner prescribed by law, upon payment of detention charges. Detention charges shall be at the rate of $5 per day or part thereof during the detention of the dog for the first violation of this Part and $35 per day or part thereof for subsequent offenses. If after 10 days from the giving of the notice such dog has not been claimed, said dog shall be disposed of in the manner prescribed by law.

The first two times a dog is seized, the owner shall pay a fine of
$15 to the Township as well as reasonable fees for keeping the animal
in a kennel in an amount as established from time to time by resolution
of the Board of Supervisors.

of this Part, upon conviction thereof in an action brought before
a magisterial district judge in the manner provided for the enforcement
of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure,
shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 plus costs
and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment
not to exceed 90 days. Each day that a violation of this Part continues
or each section of this Part which shall be found to have been violated
