The Code Enforcement Officer may require that the review of
an application for a license, including the review of the documents
or information submitted with or in connection with any such application,
shall be performed at the cost and expense of the owner of the subject
premises by a third-party agency. Such agency shall certify the results
of his or her review to the Code Enforcement Officer.
Whenever necessary or appropriate by the Code Enforcement Officer
to assure compliance with the provisions of this chapter, the Code
Enforcement Officer may require the performance of tests in the field
by a third-party agency, which shall be performed at the cost and
expense of the owner of the subject premises. Such agency shall certify
the results of its tests to the Code Enforcement Officer.
The Code Enforcement Officer may require any inspection necessary
to ensure compliance with this chapter to be performed at the cost
and expense of the owner of the subject premises by a third-party
agency. Such agency shall certify the results of his or her inspection
to the Code Enforcement Officer.
