It is the intent and purpose of this Part to ensure the preservation of Township-owned, -operated, and/or -managed park lands, recreation facilities and conservation areas within the Township for the perpetual enjoyment of the residents of the Township, to regulate activities within these areas consistent with the enjoyment and preservation of unspoiled natural settings and park facilities, and to prevent any nuisance to the residents of the Township in the use of such Township-owned, - operated, and/or -managed park lands, recreation areas and conservation areas or in the enjoyment of private property adjacent to such areas. This Part shall apply to all parks, lands, recreation facilities and conservation areas now or hereafter owned, operated, and/or managed by the Township (for purposes of this Part, hereafter referred to as the "Township parks"); provided, that nothing set forth herein is intended to be in conflict with or inconsistent with the requirement of any federal or state regulation appurtenant to use of any facility acquired or developed with federal or state funds as relates to the use of such facility.
