A.
Establishment Of Fund. There is hereby authorized
the creation, funding and use of a restricted fund within the City's
treasury to be known as the "Steele Police Vehicle Fund" to provide
for and accommodate the purchase of vehicles and associated equipment
for the Police Department of the City.
B.
Funding Of Fund. Ten dollars ($10.00) of each fine
collected in every case disposed of in the Municipal Court shall be
turned over to the City Treasurer to the credit of the Steele Police
Vehicle Fund. The City Treasurer shall maintain such fund as a restricted
fund to be utilized solely for the purposes set forth in this Article.
The Treasurer shall at all times maintain an accounting of the fund
balance available in such fund.
C.
Use Of Fund. The authorized use of the monies hereafter
accumulated in said fund shall be limited to the purchase of Police
vehicles and equipment necessary to equip such vehicles for police
use.
