A license fee is imposed upon all businesses operating video gaming terminals as permitted under exceptions set forth in the statutes of the State of Illinois, to-wit: 720 ILCS 5/28-1. The annual license fee shall be $100 per terminal.
The term of each license year shall run from May 1 through April 30 in the following year. Each license issued later than May 1 shall terminate on April 30 of the following year, but said license fee shall not be diminished.
The annual license fee shall be paid in advance of the ensuing license year. No license(s) shall be issued until payment for such license is received.
