A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the Borough Secretary of the Borough of Shillington, being marked and designed as the 2018 International Property Maintenance Code as published by the International Code Council, Inc., be and is hereby adopted as the 2018 International Property Maintenance Code of the Borough of Shillington, in the State of Pennsylvania; for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said 2018 International Property Maintenance Code are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Part, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 5-202 of this Part.

The following sections are hereby revised:

Section 103.5 - Insert: No fee charged.

Section 112.4 - Insert: $100 to $1,000.

Section 302.4 - Insert: eight inches.
E. 
Section 304.14 - Insert: April 30 to October 15.
F. 
Section 602.3 - Insert: October 1 to April 30.
G. 
Section 602.4 - Insert: October 1 to April 30.

Ordinance No. 982 of the Borough of Shillington entitled, The Property Maintenance Code of the Borough of Shillington and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

Nothing in this Part or in the Property Maintenance Code hereby adopted shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding impending in any court, or any rights acquired, or liability incurred, or any cause or causes of action acquired or existing, under any act or ordinance hereby repealed as cited in § 5-203 of this Part nor shall any just or legal right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired or affected by this Part.
