Interment of human bodies will take place only in those areas authorized by the North Newton Township Board of Supervisors. An application for a permit shall contain the following:

The fee for yearly permits, dating from the date of issuance, shall be as set by resolution of the Board of Supervisors. In order to protect and preserve human life and welfare, as well as the environment, all caskets must be enclosed within a concrete vault for final burial. No exceptions will be recognized. Religious belief or practices, as well as the desire of the deceased or the family members, will be insufficient to override the authority of this chapter.[1]
