It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or offer for sale, except from 8:00 A.M. June 20 to 6:00 P.M. July 5, any type of fireworks or firecrackers within the corporate limits of this City.
All applications for the sale of fireworks shall be submitted to Board of Aldermen for approval by May thirty-first (31st) of the year in which a permit is requested.
Fireworks and firecrackers shall not be sold or advertised for sale from any street, alley, sidewalk or other public property within the corporate limits.

A. 
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to discharge any fireworks, firecrackers, or similar contraptions or innovations within the corporate limits of the City of Oronogo except only on their own property or upon property whose owner has given his/her consent therefore; and only from June twentieth (20th) to July fifth (5th) between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 10:00 P.M., except that fireworks may be discharged until 11:59 P.M. on July fourth (4th), and fireworks also may be discharged between the hours of 10:00 P.M. on December thirty-first (31st) through 1:00 A.M. on January first (1st).
B. 
It shall be unlawful to discharge bottle rockets in the City of Oronogo at any time.
C. 
It shall be unlawful for any persons to discharge or shoot any type of fireworks or firecrackers at any time in or on any public street, public sidewalk, public park, public grounds, or within the business district of the City.
D. 
Provided that the Board of Aldermen, by resolution, may permit the discharge or shooting of fireworks or firecrackers on public or private property within the business district on July fourth (4th), if the same is a public display, for which no admission charge is collected, and if the same is sponsored and conducted by a local organization.
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to discharge any fireworks, firecrackers or other like or similar contraptions or innovations within the City limits of Oronogo except upon their own property or upon property whose owner has given his/her consent therefore.

No person shall discharge any fireworks in such a manner as to threaten or to injure another.
