All
notices placed upon public areas, street and alleys must be removed
within twenty-four (24) hours after the event happens or purpose for
which information was posted is passed or becomes damaged, whichever
event is sooner.
The
person or organization described in notice or occupier of the premises
described in notice or person placing or responsible for placing notice
shall be responsible for removing notice either separately or together.
Any of the above described organizations or persons in Subsection (B) who violate the provisions of this Section upon conviction shall be assessed a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) nor less than ten dollars ($10.00) per violation.
For
a period of one (1) month after the effective date of this Section
persons who may have violated the provisions of this Section for the
first (1st) time shall be given a notice of the violation and shall
not be prosecuted.
Persons
who apply for permits and licenses for special events within the City
of New Haven, Missouri, shall be given a summarized copy of this Section.
This
Section does not make lawful the posting of notice where otherwise
prohibited by ordinance.
It shall be an offense to obstruct the streets or alleys of
the City either by congregating in crowds, parking cars, standing,
sitting or by any other manner.
A
person commits the offense of assault on a police animal when such
person knowingly attempts to kill or disable or knowingly causes or
attempts to cause serious physical injury to a police animal when
that animal is involved in law enforcement investigation, apprehension,
tracking, or search, or the animal is in the custody of or under the
control of a Law Enforcement Officer, department of corrections officer,
municipal police department, fire department or a rescue unit or agency.
