This Part is authorized by 53 P.S. § 66506 and is
intended to protect the public's use and enjoyment of public property
and to prevent offenses to public health, safety, and public interest.

1. It shall be unlawful for any person, partnership, corporation or
agent acting independently or under the direction of the principal
to deface any public building structure, sign, banner, or vehicle
within the Township.
2. "Defacing" shall include: application of paint, inks or dyes; affixing
any printed materials such as signs or posters; destruction or removal
or damaging of any part.
3. As to the Township's recycling bin area, it shall be unlawful for
any person, partnership, corporation, or agent acting independently
or under the direction of the principal to do any of the following:
leave at the site even temporarily any item or material whatsoever
other than items approved for recycling through the Township's recycling
center that have been placed in the proper bin; interfere in any manner
with the public's use of the recycling bin area; and remove from any
bin any of the recycle items already placed there.

Violation of any provision of this Part shall be a summary offense
punishable upon conviction by a fine of no less than $100 and no more
than $300 for the first offense, and no less than $250 and no more
than $1,000 for any subsequent offense.
