There is hereby created and established the position of Public Works Director for the City of Gallatin, Missouri.

A qualified person shall be appointed Public Works Director for the City of Gallatin by the Mayor; such appointment shall be approved by a majority of the Board of Aldermen. The person so appointed shall serve for an initial twelve-month term and thereafter as directed by the Board of Aldermen, subject, however, to removal as provided by Section 115.030 and other provisions of this Chapter pertaining hereto.

The person appointed to the office of Public Works Director shall be at least twenty-one (21) years of age and shall have the qualifications and experience in municipal utilities and streets.
