A. 
The City will fix, establish, maintain and collect, and will alter from time to time to the extent necessary, such rates, fees and charges for gas and gas service furnished by or through the natural gas system of the City, including all extensions and improvements thereto hereafter constructed or acquired by said City, as will produce revenues sufficient to provide funds to pay the cost of the operation and maintenance of said system and to pay the principal of and interest on its natural gas system revenue bonds as and when the same become due and to create and maintain reasonable reserves. None of the facilities or services afforded by the natural gas system of the City will be furnished to any gas user (excepting the City itself) without a reasonable charge being made therefor. Each consumer shall be charged monthly for so much natural gas as is consumed.
B. 
The rate for gas service to customers of the gas system of City of Granby, Missouri, shall be as follows:
1. 
The first one thousand (1,000) cubic feet will be twenty-nine dollars fifteen cents ($29.15), to include the meter charge ($17.50 + $11.65).
2. 
Next one thousand (1,000) cubic feet and thereafter shall be eleven dollars sixty-five cents ($11.65).
C. 
The base fee for gas meter service to customers of the gas system of City of Granby, Missouri, shall be as follows:
1. 
Residential rate will be seventeen dollars and fifty cents ($17.50).*
2. 
Non-residential rate for customers will be one hundred dollars ($100.00).*
*Residential rate will apply to all meters sized less than AL425. All non-residential rates will apply to meters sized above AL425.
