Township of Wilkins, PA Chapter 9 Auditor, Independent

§ 9-1 Audit of Township accounts.

Audit of Township accounts as provided in the First Class Township Code[1] shall hereafter be done by an independent auditor who shall be either a certified public accountant registered in Pennsylvania, a firm of certified public accountants so registered or a competent public accountant or a competent firm of public accountants.

§ 9-2 Appointment of independent accountant.

The independent accountant shall be appointed annually by resolution of the Board of Township Commissioners.

§ 9-3 Powers and duties of independent accountant.

The independent accountant shall have and possess all the powers and perform all the duties provided by the First Class Township Code for elected auditors.
