Section 100.290 Returned Check Charge.

Checks accepted for payment by the City of Aurora which are not honored by the author's banking institution, for whatever reason, are subject to a returned check charge. The returned check charge shall consist of a flat-rate handling fee in an amount authorized by the City Council and the repayment of all fees of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) charged to the City by its own banking institutions.

Section 100.300 Phone Transaction Service Fees.

The City of Aurora shall charge a transaction fee of four dollars ($4.00) for all credit card payments or other payments processed utilizing City staff over the phone.
