The Town hereby carries over the care and control of the grounds
known as the old burial grounds located in the center of the Town
to the First School Society now having the care and control of all
burial grounds within the limits of the First School Society except
the burial ground on Hastings Hill.

The Town shall receive, and hold in trust, money, the income
of which is to be used for the care and improvement of its cemeteries
or private lots within such cemeteries or elsewhere under the act
concerning the care of cemeteries passed during the January session
of the General Assembly 1895.
