Pursuant to § 10, Subdivision 4, of the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New York, any policeman or peace officer of the City of Plattsburgh, New York, is authorized to issue an appearance ticket relating to the enforcement of any statute, local law, ordinance, rule or regulation affecting the public health, safety and welfare of the City of Plattsburgh, New York, and its inhabitants, including parking restrictions imposed by Chapter 360, Zoning.
The City Clerk of the City of Plattsburgh, New York, is authorized to issue an appearance ticket relating to the enforcement of any statute, local law, ordinance, rule or regulation relating to the licensing of occupations or businesses in the City of Plattsburgh, New York.

The Building Inspector, Housing Inspector, and Municipal Code Inspector are authorized to issue an appearance ticket to enforce any statute, local law, ordinance, rule or regulation relating to health and sanitation and building, zoning and planning.
The appearance ticket shall be in the form prescribed by § 150.10 of the Criminal Procedure Law of the State of New York.

The Superintendent of the Department of Public Works is authorized to issue an appearance ticket to enforce any statute, local law, ordinance, rule or regulation relating to sanitation.
