The Plattsburgh City Fire Department is authorized to furnish emergency ambulance service in accordance with the following rules and regulations:
A. 
Emergency ambulance service shall be furnished within the City of Plattsburgh, New York, and where contracted or requested by Mutual Aid.
B. 
Ambulance service shall be furnished, provided that ambulance service is available.
C. 
Ambulance service shall be applied for by or on behalf of any person who is within the City of Plattsburgh and the area defined in Subsection A.
D. 
Calls for ambulance service shall be made to Clinton County 911.
E. 
The ambulance service provided shall be the type certified by the New York State Department of Health Emergency Medical Services.
F. 
If, pursuant to a call for emergency ambulance service, a response is made and ambulance service is not required or accepted, the same shall be deemed an ambulance call for the purposes hereof.

The Common Council of the City of Plattsburgh may, by resolution, establish or amend the fees and charges to be imposed for the services rendered hereunder.[1]
