As used in this article, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
PUBLIC PLACE
Any place which is visible to the public, or to which the
public has access, and includes but is not limited to highways, pedestrian
malls, streets, alleys, sidewalks, parking areas, parks, playgrounds,
and parts of private property that are open or visible to the public
such as hallways, lobbies, porches, outdoor seating areas, lawns and
driveways.
No person shall urinate or defecate in a public place except
in a rest room facility.
A violation of this section shall be an offense punishable by
a fine of not more than $150, or a sentence of not more than 25 hours
of community service, or both.
