Within fifteen (15) days after his/her appointment, and before entering upon the discharge of the duties of his/her office, the Street Commissioner shall execute a bond to the City of Kennett in an amount as determined and approved by the City Council, conditioned for the faithful performance of all the duties required or which may be required of him/her by virtue of the ordinances of the City or of any resolution of the City Council; and that he/she will pay over all monies belonging to the City that may come into his/her hands. Said bond shall be approved by the Mayor and filed with the City Clerk.
