Salaries of all elected officials of the Borough shall be established from time to time in accordance with the Borough Code, 53 P.S. § 45101 et seq.[1]

All deductions for old age insurance shall be deducted from the salary or compensation of any person covered by such insurance, and likewise Federal Income Tax withholding deductions shall be made as required by law. All monies so deducted shall be deposited in a special fund.

This article shall be in effect for the fiscal year of 1991 and for succeeding fiscal years. Borough Council reserves the right from time to time to change the salaries and compensations established by this article, by motion, and the adoption of this article shall not be construed as a contract with any official or employee for employment by the Borough.
