All elections held for municipal purposes and the general and
special elections provided for by state law shall be held in conformance
with all applicable provisions of state law.

The City is hereby divided into three voting wards for municipal
elections.
A. First Ward. All that portion of the City of Waverly bounded on the
west by the center line of Pearl Street, on the north by the center
line of State Street and on the east and south by the City limits
shall constitute the First Voting Ward, and Precinct No. 1 for municipal
elections.
B. Second Ward. All that portion of the City of Waverly, Illinois, bounded
on the SOUTH by a line running as follows, to-wit: Commencing at the
intersection of the west boundary of said City with the center line
of Temple Street extended, thence east along the center line of Temple
Street to its intersection with the center line of Pearl Street, thence
south one block along the center line of Pearl Street to its intersection
with the center line of State Street, thence east along the center
line of State Street to the intersection of its extension with the
east boundary of said City and on the west, north and east by the
City limits, shall constitute the Second Voting Ward and Precinct
No. 2 for municipal elections.
C. Third Ward. All that portion of the City of Waverly, Illinois, bounded
on the north by the center line of Temple Street extended to the west
boundary of said City, on the east by the center line of Pearl Street
extended to the south boundary of said City and on the west and south
by the City limits shall constitute the Third Voting Ward and Precinct
No. 3 for municipal elections.
