It shall be unlawful for any person to conduct or exhibit any
parade connected with a circus in or on any public street, alley or
other public way or place in the City unless a permit therefor is
first obtained from the Chief of Police. Such permit shall specify
the route to be followed, and shall be accompanied by a bond in an
amount set by the City Council, conditioned to indemnify the City
for any loss, damage or liability incurred or caused by the conduct
or exhibition of such parade.
