During any fair, festival an similar event that is hosted, organized, sponsored, or co-sponsored by the City of Kimmswick, including, but not limited to, those described herein, The Chief of Police is hereby directed by the Board of Aldermen to conspicuously post a notice at the main entrance to the City of Kimmswick at the intersection of Fifth and Beakett Streets, at the parking area and shuttle bus dropoff at the intersection of Sixth and High Streets, at the Kimmswick City Hall, and/or at the Kimmswick Visitors Center that states substantially that "UNDER MISSOURI LAW, KIMMSWICK IS NOT LIABLE FOR INJURY/DEATH OF ANY PERSON RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISK OF PARTICIPATING IN OR OBSERVING ANY ACTIVITIES AT THIS EVENT" in one-inch black lettering on a white background.
