Editor's Note: This chapter also set forth an effective
date of 3-1-2018.
For the purpose of controlling and abating noise, diesel fumes,
and illuminations and to protect and promote the nighttime tranquility,
any business that abuts property containing a residential dwelling,
or any business directly across the street from a property containing
a residential dwelling shall not allow truck deliveries to occur at
its business premises during the hours of 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Any business which allows a violation of this chapter shall
be subject to a fine of $100 for a first offense, $250 for a second
offense, and $500 for a third or subsequent offense.
