This ordinance may from time to time be changed by amendment,
addition or repeal by the Town Council in the manner provided by law,
and all petitions therefor shall be filed with the Town Clerk, who
shall forthwith transmit true copies thereof to the Mayor, the Town
Council and the Planning Board.
The provisions of this ordinance, so far as they are the same
as those of existing ordinances, shall be construed as continuations
thereof. All ordinances or parts of ordinances theretofore adopted,
which are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance, are
hereby repealed.
The provisions of this ordinance are hereby declared to be severable.
If any such provision, or the application of such provision to any
person or circumstances, shall be held to be invalid or unconstitutional,
such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not be construed to affect
the validity or constitutionality of any of the remaining provisions
thereof or the application of such provisions to persons or circumstances
other than those as to which it is held invalid or unconstitutional.
It is hereby declared to be the intent of the Town that said provisions
would have been adopted in the event that such invalid or unconstitutional
provision had not been included therein.
The administrative content of these areas of the Zoning Ordinance
may be revised from time to time by administrative action of the Planning
Board.
The Town of West Springfield shall become the sole owner of
all materials submitted to the Town in connection with the administration
of this Zoning Ordinance except as provided for herein.
This ordinance shall take effect upon adoption by the Town,
the approval of the Attorney General and publication as provided by
law.
