A. The Department
of Recreation is hereby authorized and directed to arrange for the
imposition of fees to defray a portion of the cost of the operation
of various recreation programs within the Township.
B. The Department of Recreation, at its discretion, may offer up to a discount of 10% from the fees listed for programs contained within Chapter
265 for early program enrollment or special promotions advertised and made available to the general public, as well as for discounts for additional siblings within a family enrolled in a particular program.
C. The Department of Recreation, at its discretion, may increase or
decrease the fee of any program on a pro-rata basis for program offerings
with a reduced or extended duration. For example, if a program with
a listed fee of $100 is expanded from five days to six days, the Department
may charge up to $120 for the six-day program.
D. The Department of Recreation, at its discretion, may offer a discount of up to $15 on "guest books" pursuant to Chapter
265, §§ 25-21 and 25-35, for special promotions advertised and made available to the general public.
E. Requests for refunds shall be processed pursuant to §
171-5.2 of the Code.

(1)
The Recreation Director may, however, reduce or refund the nonrefundable
deposits or administrative processing fees on a prorated basis, in
the following cases:
(a)
A letter from a physician is provided stating that a participant
is unable to continue in a program due to a documented medical condition
which arose after the application deadline.
(b)
A participant is approved for a financial need waiver.
(c)
Documentation is received from the Marlboro Board of Education
or Freehold Regional School District stating that the participant
has a conflict with a school-sponsored program.
(2)
If requested and in lieu of a refund the Recreation Director
may authorize a credit towards future Marlboro Recreation programs
without an administrative processing fee.

The following fees are hereby established for
those programs offered by the Department of Recreation:
A. Basketball Program (not to exceed, per season):
(2) All grades, travel (per season): not to exceed $207.
(3) Adult league (per individual): $160.
(4) Adult league (per team): $1,300.
(5) Spring youth league: $125.
(6) Summer youth league: $120.
B. Youth Soccer Program, all grades (Recreation): not
to exceed $253 per season.
C. Wrestling
program, all grades: not to exceed $163.
D. Summer Camp:
(1) Summer Camp six-week sessions: Not to exceed $1,463. Nonrefundable
deposit of $100 shall apply.
(2) Summer Camp three-week sessions: Not to exceed $812. Nonrefundable
deposit of $100 shall apply.
(3) H2O camp/7th week: Not to exceed $298. Nonrefundable deposit of $50
shall apply.
(4) Pre-camps, six weeks: Not to exceed $397. Nonrefundable deposit of
$50 shall apply.
(5) After-camps, six weeks: Not to exceed $589. Nonrefundable deposit
of $50 shall apply.
(6) Pre- and after-camps, six weeks: Not to exceed $912. Nonrefundable
deposit of $100 shall apply.
(7) Pre-camps, three weeks: Not to exceed $211. Nonrefundable deposit
of $50 shall apply.
(8) After-camps, three weeks: Not to exceed $310. Nonrefundable deposit
of $50 shall apply.
(9) Pre- and after-camps, three weeks: Not to exceed $459. Nonrefundable
deposit of $50 shall apply.
E. Travel camp: not to exceed $1,860. Nonrefundable deposit of $250
shall apply.
F. Theater Camp: not to exceed $718. Nonrefundable deposit of $100 shall
apply.
G. Open Gym,
youth: not to exceed $91.
H. Open Gym,
adult: not to exceed $100.
I. Passive
Youth: not to exceed $200.
J. Passive
Adult: not to exceed $200.
K. Special
needs programs: not to exceed $162.50.
L. Seasonal
event activities: not to exceed $100.
M. Private
contracted programs: not to exceed (for administration, overhead and
supplies in addition to cost of contract) 30%.
N. Senior
citizen activities: not to exceed $184.60.
O. Teen activities:
not exceed $100.
P. Preschool:
not to exceed $450.
Q. Aquatic
Camp: not to exceed $227.50.
R. Tennis
Program: not to exceed $50.
S. Special
event vendor fees: not to exceed $275.
T. Lacrosse
Program:
(1) Clinics, all ages (not to exceed, per session): $15.
(2) Leagues, all ages (not to exceed): $250.
U. Mobile
stage rental. Use of Township mobile stage by other municipalities
or affiliated agencies:
(1) Fee
for single event: $600.
(2) Fee
for continuous multiday use: $600; $200 per day for each additional
day.
V. Marlboro
Recreation Football: not to exceed $200.
W. Nonresident
program fees: Subject to availability and the rules and regulations
for programs established by the Department of Recreation and in its
sole and absolute discretion, nonresidents shall be permitted to participate
in Recreation Department programs for the resident program fee plus
up to 50%. In the event that there is no fee for the program for residents,
as in certain programs for seniors, then the nonresident fee for such
program shall be up to 50% more than the cost of running the program,
as determined on a pro rata basis.

The above-mentioned schedule of fees shall be
for the programs as determined by the Department of Recreation.

Parks and Recreation Facilities emergency service and volunteer
benefits (Note: applies to old "Recreation Commission" programs only):
A. Subject to the definitions and restrictions in §
24-4 of the code of the Township of Marlboro, emergency service volunteers who are members in good standing shall be eligible for the following discounts:
(1) Programs
excluding summer and travel camps: 100% waiver.
(2) Summer
and travel camps: 50% waiver.
