[HISTORY: Adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the
City of Reedsburg 3-23-2009 (Sec.
1.115 of the former Municipal Codebook). Amendments noted where applicable.]
All provisions of § 106.50, Wis. Stats., and all applicable
portions of the Wisconsin Administrative Code regarding fair and open
housing, together with any amendments, additions or deletions which
may occur in the future, are hereby adopted by reference and made
a part of this ordinance as if fully set forth herein.
The officials and employees of the City of Reedsburg shall assist
in the orderly prevention and removal of all discrimination in housing
within the City of Reedsburg by implementing the authority and enforcement
procedures set forth in § 106.50, Wisconsin Statutes.
The City Clerk-Treasurer shall maintain forms for complaints
to be filed under § 106.50, Wis. Stats., and shall assist
any person alleging a violation thereof in the City of Reedsburg to
file a complaint thereunder with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce
Development, Equal Rights Division, for enforcement of § 106.50,
Wis. Stats.
