The Wrightsville Fire, Steam and Hose Company or its duly constituted
successor in title, hereinafter designated "fire company," shall nominate
such of its members over 21 years of age as it desires as special
fire police.

All special fire police, as provided for, shall take an oath
as prescribed by Council to be administered by the Mayor on the first
Monday of January of each year, and in the event of any replacements
made necessary by resignation, death, suspension or rejection as above
provided for, as soon thereafter as possible.

The special fire police so authorized and confirmed shall have
full power at or in the vicinity of any fire in the Borough of Wrightsville
or at such other locality in which the fire company is in attendance
to regulate traffic, keep crowds under control and to exercise such
other police powers as are necessary in order to facilitate and prevent
interference with the work of firemen in extinguishing fires.

All special fire police shall be subject to the control of the
Chief of Police when in performance of their duties.
